About Moolish, the real-time crypto market scanner
Last updated:
Moolish is a real-time crypto market scanner. You describe a multi-step setup once, across timeframes and across assets, and Moolish sends one alert when the whole setup lines up.
What Moolish does
Most alerting tools fire on a single condition: a price level, an indicator crossing a line, a candle pattern. A trader who works with several confirmations ends up with several alerts that arrive separately and have to be put back together by hand. Moolish is built around the opposite idea, the event chain: several conditions across timeframes combined into one alert. In Scan Events each timeframe gets its own card with a lookback, and a Market condition can gate the scan on another asset. Chains adds an ordered option for steps on one symbol.
The audience we build for is the trader who already reads TD Sequential setups and countdowns and likes to confirm them with volume and a candle pattern. The standard example in our guides is Buy Setup 9 on the 1D, High Volume or above on the 4H and a confirming candle on the 15M. The guide to that setup shows how it is built.

Who runs Moolish
Moolish is built and run by the Moolish team. The Terms of Service and Privacy Policy set out the agreement you accept when you use Moolish.
We do not publish customer counts or ratings, and we do not show performance numbers. Moolish detects conditions; whether a condition is worth acting on is your decision.
Where the data comes from
Moolish reads candles from the exchanges it covers and builds its signals from them. Venues are always named as an exchange plus a market, for example Binance Spot or Binance Futures, because the same ticker can behave differently on each.
- Exchanges: Binance (spot and futures), Bybit and OKX.
- TradingView-sourced series: a small set of indices and instruments, such as crypto market-cap indices, that are scanned alongside the exchange markets and are not selectable as a scan scope.
- Detection: conditions are evaluated on the closed bar. Alerts on method events go out to Telegram right after the bar closes, and a Candle-shape trigger arrives shortly after the close.
What Moolish is not
Moolish is not a broker, an exchange or an adviser. It does not hold your funds, place trades or tell you what to buy. Nothing it shows is financial advice, and trading crypto carries a high risk of loss. Read the full Disclaimer and Risk Disclosure before you rely on any alert.

Who writes the guides
Jack, founder of Moolish, writes the guides, the Learn pages and the blog. He used the TD Sequential counts by hand before building the scanner, and every counting rule stated on this site is checked against the Sequencer 9-13 source before it is published.
