Moolish is a tool, not an adviser. Nothing on moolish.com or inside the Moolish app is financial, investment, trading, legal or tax advice. An alert is a notification that a condition you (or another user) defined has matched on market data. It is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. Every trading decision you make is yours alone.
Please read this page carefully before relying on anything Moolish shows you. It forms part of our Terms of Service. When we say “Moolish”, “we” or “us”, we mean the operator of the Moolish service; when we say “you”, we mean anyone who visits our website or uses the service.
1. No financial advice
Moolish is a real-time market scanner and alerting platform. It watches cryptocurrency market data and tells you when a set of conditions (an “event chain”, “candle”, “method” or similar setup) has matched. The conditions, indicators, patterns, presets and methods available in Moolish are technical descriptions of price and volume behaviour. They are provided for informational and educational purposes only.
- We are not a broker, dealer, exchange, custodian, investment adviser, commodity trading adviser, portfolio manager or financial institution of any kind, and we are not registered as one in any jurisdiction.
- We do not know your financial situation, objectives, experience or risk tolerance, and nothing we provide takes them into account.
- No content on the website, in the app, in alerts, in the methods library, in our documentation, emails or community channels should be read as a solicitation, offer or recommendation to enter into any transaction.
- If you need advice, consult a licensed professional in your jurisdiction before making any decision.
2. Trading cryptocurrency is risky
Cryptocurrency and derivative markets are highly volatile and largely unregulated. Prices can move sharply in seconds, liquidity can disappear, exchanges can halt trading, go offline or become insolvent, and leveraged positions can be liquidated. You can lose some or all of the money you trade, and with leverage you can lose more than your initial deposit.
Only trade with money you can afford to lose. Past price behaviour, past alert outcomes and the historical performance of any method, pattern or chain are not indicative of future results. A setup that matched profitably a hundred times may fail the next time.
3. Alerts are best-effort and may be late, missed or wrong
We work hard to make detection fast and reliable, but we cannot guarantee it. Alerts depend on exchange data feeds, network connectivity, third-party messaging services (such as Telegram) and our own infrastructure, any of which can fail or slow down. Accordingly:
- An alert may arrive late, arrive more than once, or not arrive at all.
- A condition may appear to match on data we received but not on the exchange’s final data (for example, after a feed correction, a reorganised candle or a delisting).
- A condition may fail to fire even though, with hindsight, it “should” have.
- Scans over historical data can produce results that differ from what a live scan would have produced at the time.
Never place a trade solely because an alert fired, and never assume that the absence of an alert means nothing has happened. Verify on your exchange before acting.
4. Market data comes from third parties
Prices, volumes, candles, funding, open interest, listings and other market data shown in Moolish are received from third-party exchanges and data providers, including Binance, Bybit, OKX, TradingView and CoinMarketCap. We do not control these sources and we do not verify their data. Data may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, out of order or missing, and symbols may be renamed, merged or delisted without notice. Trademarks and logos of those providers belong to their owners; their appearance in Moolish does not mean they endorse Moolish or vice versa.
5. Methods are technical tools, not advice
The methods in Moolish are built and maintained by Moolish. Each one is a mechanical set of conditions on price and volume data. A method matching, or an alert firing, is not a recommendation, signal to trade or guarantee of any outcome, and we do not claim that any method is profitable or suitable for you. Statistics shown for a method (such as how often it fired or what happened afterwards) are computed mechanically from historical data and are subject to every limitation in sections 2, 3 and 4. Use methods at your own risk.
6. Automation and incoming webhooks
Moolish delivers alerts to Telegram. Moolish can also receive webhooks from other services (for example TradingView alerts) as event sources. If you connect an alert, an incoming webhook or any other output of the service to a bot, an exchange API or any system that places orders automatically, you are solely responsible for everything that system does, including orders placed on duplicate, late, false or test alerts, and for keeping your API keys secure. We strongly recommend position limits, kill switches and sandbox testing before letting any automation trade real money on Moolish alerts.
7. No guarantee of availability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change, suspend or discontinue any feature, data source, market or the whole service at any time, with or without notice, and we may schedule or perform maintenance that interrupts scanning. We are not liable for any loss arising from downtime, degraded performance or discontinued features. See the liability section of our Terms.
8. Your local laws
Cryptocurrency trading is restricted or prohibited in some countries, and some exchanges do not serve residents of certain jurisdictions. It is your responsibility to make sure that using Moolish, and acting on anything it shows you, is legal where you live, and to comply with the terms of every exchange or service you connect to. We do not make any representation that the service is appropriate or available in any particular location.
9. Third-party links and content
Our website and app may link to exchanges, documentation, community channels and other third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content, policies or availability, and a link is not an endorsement.
10. Changes to this disclaimer
We may update this page from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top tells you when it last changed. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated disclaimer.
